Done a search but no luck. My valver is overheating in very slow/ stationary traffic. But fine when moving. Had new rad and coolant oil and oilffilter. No gunk on the oil cap and not looking coolant. Any thorts as to what it might be?

Temp sensor? Does it cool down when driving? (drop below 90)

Do the fans come on? There's a video on YouTube to check if working on both speeds

Yeah check if the fan is actually coming on. If it isn't try shorting it to see if it's the fan or the fan temp sensor at fault.

Start it up from cold, and keep your eye on the oil temp on MFA, my fans come on at 82 - 84 oil temp on my 8 valver and on me VR6 I think it about 86.

Check to see if I comes on and if the oil temp rises and no sign of fans being on, then you have a problem with the fan module. But don't let it rise anymore than 90.

No worries, cheers for the link!  Come to think of it,when I changed the rad, I had trouble getting that plug back in, so it might not be connected properly, will test it out tomorrow.

Cheers :afro:
