Ok not much to update I'm afraid...

motovation has been slacking and weather has been crap!

First of all I had to help myate Ryan change his sump as he decided to attack a speedbump with his! Creating a nice big crack in it! So I stripped te sump of my spare engine and took the necessary tools to his!

ive also been doing a little work ok the spoiler out of the weather!

I decided I was going to smooth the lip in a little more so lots of messing with filler and sanding and filler and sanding then priming and more filler ect ect

It's getting there! Haha

I also discovered some bad news...it's seems my crankcase is getting pressurised as I looked under the bonnet and the oil cap had been blown off and had sprayed oil everywhere!!

So it looks like I will be taking the golf off the road for the winter to do the engine build/swap soon then I had hoped!

But never mind I've gone and bought myself a winter car haha which is coming tomorrow so I will update with a few photos! Haha

Yeah seen as the golf is coming back off the road to strip the bay and swap the engine I thought I would buy myself something that won't get stuck in the snow as easily as the golf did last year

Find a 4x4 Club.  Go trialing.  Then you'll have fun.

If you go off-road you're going to need to let those huge balloons down to about 10PSI to make them grip properly.

And read up on winching before you start playing with that drum on the front - lots of dos and don'ts and ways to get seriously hurt.
Just because you're offended doesn't make you right.

Yeah I'll definitely be goin laning! I know quite a few around me due to going out on the ktm!

Yeah I'm gonna get a decent tyre compressor so I can hangs the pressures at will.

And I've already read up a bit on winching and I also do quite a bit of rigging and slinging at work and will probably only be doing simple straight pulls but thanks for the concern

Have open ears if you have any tip

Currently working on the disco this week to get it through the kit and serviced etc so I can get it on the road then it will be back to working on the golf
