Restored my headlights over the weekend using the wetsand and 2k laccer method rather than the wetsand and polishing method.

Thought i'd make a video onit.

They look awesome. Did you use anything between the 1200 grade paper and the 2K lacquer (like steel wool) and what make of lacquer did you use?

Thanks man, after I finished sanding and cleaning the area, I used Isopropyl alcohol and before I went in with the 2k I used a Tac cloth.

I used the best 2k you can get, the type with the activation and I even warmed it in hot water for 10mins lol
Brand I used was Spraymax this one

So, 3 weeks ago, the last time I drove my car I took it up the Bwlch at the bottom of the brecon beacons in Wales.
Was planning a nice drive through the beacons while also grabbing some snaps with my new Canon DSLR, sadly, just moments after I took this snap, my ankle twisted while walking back to the car and I snapped it in half

Lets just say, the hour driving home was painful.... Still, managed to get a nice shot at least

Horrible and painful. Hope you have got it sorted successfully Nino. Nice photo. Car looking really good.
Mk6 GTI Carbon Grey, 2010 Bluetooth and voice fitted, a few VCDS mods still a comfortable family car. Red Scirocco 2011 twin charger stage 1 - enjoyable drive now gone.  White 2016 Polo GTI (roller skate on steroids) replaced with an Indium Grey 2019 7.5 GTI PP.
