Ouch and heres me twisting today about spending £70 on a new TRW genuine rear caliper for the leon as copies at £35 were wrong wasting a week. I then nearly ordered a green one by mistake too, not being my week.  :embarrassed:
Mind the last month wasted by waiting for the discs from eurocarparts didn't help my mood.

Today on the mk6 changed the other #100 relay. The cause of low voltage and sporadic communication issue,  that's both under the bonnet changed now. Hella built to an oem supply price I guess.

Independent was £465 versus £495 from a dealer.

Next job, rear discs and pads, dealer quote £425
Now = 2011 MK6 GTI - Reflex Silver
Past = 2006 MK5 GTI - Tornado Red and Solid Black

Could someone do me a favour please?
The two #100 relays under the bonnet in the fuse box on the right.
Do yours get warm say after 30 minutes. If I touch the top of either of mine with the back of my fingers they seem very warm, hot even.
Wondering if this is what's caused my failure. The terminals look clean and unrusty. So wondering if normal?

Restored my headlights over the weekend using the wetsand and 2k laccer method rather than the wetsand and polishing method.

Thanks :smiley:

Hard to tell, they were warm but could be due to a warm engine bay?
