It was worse in real life than it looks in the photo. Already sold the spacers anyway. Wheels are 16 x 8j et25, tyres are 195/45/16 :-)

I want to ditch the horrible crystal clear indicator/fog assembly that a previous owner added as they completely ruin the front end in my opinion. Was thinking of replacing them with these lovely looking InPro smoked ones.

I had these on my last mk3, they were cheaper on ebay iirc.

Can't see them on eBay, neither UK or German. Will keep a look out over the next couple of weeks otherwise I will just bite the bullet and buy from Venom.

On a somewhat related note, I have some new tail lights arriving tomorrow

New taillights :) They are tinted CL lights but done extremely well by a guy on Edition 38. The process he goes through is quite impressive and they're a bargain considering the amount of time he puts in to each pair. The lenses are polished and sooooo smooth! Just need some green indicator bulbs then I can fit them.

Don't bother with green bulbs, they don't work particularly well.
Get orange led indicators with resistors instead, work loads better.

Yeah I'm really impressed with the finish. Won't be going on for a couple of weeks as I can't yet afford the bulbs due to having an absolute ballache with the cooling system. First I had a leak from the front coolant flange, replaced it, sprang a leak in the side one. Replaced that, has sprung a leak in the thermostat cover. It seems everytime I fix something the system is holding more pressure and the next weakest part fails. The o rings were completely shot on the flanges though, so I'm assuming the thermostat cover is the same. Just don't want to replace that then something else leak, so might replace the waterpump to block seal too, and just because they're cheap may as well get a new waterpump whilst I am at it.
