yea cully i can understand on a type r as the as cai is directly connected to the throttle body, where as a turbo car is different the water has to travel past the turbo which in my eyes seems impossible as the turbo would just stall.

a little amount of water in the inlet is good as you've seen with water injection.

Even if the Turbo stale the would still be vacuume from the inlet manifold sucking the water into the engine like a n/a car does.

if the turbo stalls then the engine will cut out. Have you ever had a boost pipe pop off? same thing.

Yews I have had a boost pipe pop off, the engine didn't stall tho just had no boost, drove the extra 100m home, had a look and found it had popped off.

If the turbo stalled the engine wouldn't cut out as it doesn't take boost at idle so it wouldn't make a difference and you would still have vacuume from the manifold which would suck the water in

Bloody hell mate you must have a special car then cuz when mine blows a pipe off the engine will stop as there's unmetered air entering the system what do you think the MAF is for?

So your telling me that the engine wouldn't stop after gallons of water has just hit the turbo?
