I love how vws get under peoples skin, i have friends with other cars and they dont seem to have the same scene and support neywork that we have.
Sorry if this has been dont before, just fancied a little trip down memory lane!

Completely agree, after i got bitten by the bug I've owned nothing but VW's, and I think up on about my 15th!

My first VW was a mk2 golf cl 4+e, was an awesome, retro looking car. It led to me owning a lot of golfs in the following years.

I think it was the mk4 that ended my love affair though haha.  :lipsrsealed:  :undecided:

I have a soft spot for Renault, they have character.

The mk4 was just so bland and boring. It didnt even look like a GTI.

It was a nice enough car, if youre the sort of person that isnt enthusiastic about cars. I kind of have myself to blame though as it was the non turbo model.

My first dub was a mk2 Golf 16v in oak green a friend of mine was selling it n I needed a car n after owning Pug GTI's, GT Turbo's and XR's n allsorts of other hot hatches I thought I'd take it out n see what it was like n I loved it, it wasn't the quickest car I'd driven but at the time everyone was putting jap sytle bumpers n spoilers on everything n I hated all that but thankfully the dub scene never went that way, I'm now on my fifth dub n have never looked back.
