My first car back in 1992 was a 900cc Polo in Florida blue, it had been a one owner car from new with only 50k miles on it.

Within 6 months I managed to forget to top up the oil even through lazyness on a Sat night out with my mates and managed to melt the bottom end ragging it to within an inch of its life....lesson learnt :embarrassed:

Still loved it although it took me 16 years to return to the VW marque, and now on my 3rd and loving it

had an astra mk3 1.6 when i was 13 but sold for lots of profit
first golf was a mk3 1.4 se, which i later sold to my dad which he still owns

then went to a saxo vtr

then after that went bang i went to a rover 100 1.1

then went on to get a rover 114 gta 1.4 8v

swapped that for a corsa sri

blew that up, bought a mk3 estate diesel non turbo

then part ex'd for a mk3 gti 8v

then sold that and got a mk6 escort si 1.8 16v

then went on to a corsa sport

then sold that to get a 306 d turbo which started white and ended in primer through losing a bet

blew that up and got a 1986 mk2 gti type 19 8v which i love

12 cars on at 20 and i plan on slowing down  will be owning a mk3 next month to get me round during the winter months
