My first, Mk2 1.8 GL. Loved it, but sold it to a mate when I upgraded to a Mk3 16v GTI after 2 years.

My very first vw was a golf mk3 1.9D van and as of yet i have never seen another one in the flesh second was a mk3 1.8se and now a mk3 8v gti

GTI is not a trim level. It is a lifestyle.
1999 1.8t AGU, KO3s, forge 007p, silicone tip and charge pipe, oil catch can, SS turbo back system, pipercross CAI, g60/vr6 clutch, 40mm apex springs, drilled and grooved discs, stage 2 remap.

mk1 polo 895cc bought for £35 in gambia red with no mot,and a snapped cambelt hja ***v (cant remember numbers)  threw a cambelt on it, (wasnt damaged) put it in for its mot and it passed, used it fo6 6 month then sold it with no tax for £225,this was 21years ago mind, a guy up the road bought it,whilst i was at work and my dad sorted the deal out and told me he took £130 for it, i was wounded but didnt let it show as he helped me out a lot with insurance tax etc, it was only about 2 hours later he told me that the other £95 was at the other end of the mantle piece....... wooooooooooooop -  so i split it between my mum and dad

was the 1st car i got pulled in too (by the cops )
