Ess three, yours was no where near like mine, but i hear you.. just dont base your mk3 as mine

Well, power means absolutely NOTHING when cornering...so lets hear how you have made a Mk3 out corner an ITR?
You are right...mine is nowhere near yours...I'll wager it's streets ahead on the chassis...and it still couldn't look at an ITR.

I have never suggested an ITR will out accellerate your Mk3...just run rings round it on the corners...like it does mine.

why is it streets ahead on the chassis ?  why you so bitter towards another high spec mk3 ?  ? ?

dont let this stuff get to you man its not a contest!!

long and short of it is that i never built it to be the best of anything.. just did it coz i wanted to and it was fun doing so.. as is driving it.. its fast, i think it handles well enough (to put a huge grin on my face) and thats good enough for me

its never gonna be as good handling as some other cars, but anything FWD aint gonna be much better, especially not with low torque figures

driving my mk3 puts a huge grin on my face everytime i drive it.. thats all i want.. f**k everything else or anyone elses thoughts on it

I'm use to that, from my dogging days.

Well, I suspect in 16 years of tweaking and developing, I'm probably a bit firther on in the chassis department. I may be wrong. Who really cares?
But I know I can't look at an ITR.
I owned one...same driver...I know what they are capable of.

I'm intrigued to head how yours will keep up on the corners.
Please...do tell?

Ever driven an ITR?
Several FWD cars are significanly ahead of the old Mk3. A Mk5/6 Golf for example...or a Megane, or a Clio...or an ITR.

Are you talking from experience or just theorising?

Love ITRs, proper drivers cars. Driven a couple and like the MX5 they're just sublime on a good old british B road straight out of the box.
