lol i wish i could weld. would so much simpler if i could
now i have fixed the brakes im actually thinking maybe i could keep it.
think im going to do as said buy you guys. spend this week going over it inch by inch and just realished that 2 of the SEAT wheels im sanding down have good tyres on them.
they have 65 profile tyres on but if i stick them on the rear thats the tyres sorted.
the sills at the side have a couple of rusty spots but no huge holes. its just the bits where the sills meet the rear arches that have holes but that is covered by bodykit.
what is the MOT rule on wipers. they do come on but only one speed and no intermitent

If he does that my wipers will will not turn off then unless he clicks them up one then down again. And they will stop where they are. I have to time it right so they are down when I switch them off.

Ok fcuk it in gona try and do this.
Have tyres sorted for the rear even tho it will look like a dragster lol
I did have it booked in for next Tuesday for MOT but it's not actually do for another 3 weeks so that gives me an extra £60 to play with.
So I can now afford wiper motor.
Not sure what to do about the abs light tho as it has the bulb removed by revious owner. Will they check that?
Must have been removed for a reason.
Revers lights don't work but not sure if they are part of the not and my drivers side headlight is loose inside but held still with a cable tie. So will not be aligned propply.
Have 3 weeks to sort this all. But still don't fix the 2 holes in the rear sill/wheel arch join.

The rule with warning lights at the MOTers these days are that they should come on and then go off again for a pass so even if a non important light was on such as washer fluid level you'd fail. But since your's isn't on it's missing you should be fine. Most MOTers would over look it, you could always contact them and ask if it would need to have a working abs light? But then if you got a bulb and the light was on constant you'd fail anyway! I'd personally put it through without the functioning light and hope for the best!

you can always do whats been posted above,

And I posted it before & been flamed for it on an offensive level,

but as your money is so tight & you need the car to pass,
you could possibly, while you have no funds rig up a light for the abs,
piggy backing from the airbag light, so it comes on & goes off like it should,
which would get you a pass, but its very naughty, No naughtier than you being sold the car with a bulb removed,
but at least your car is still on the road usable untill you can afford to fix the abs, & it will be no more dangerous than it is at present.....

Yeah the problem with them looking for a light to come on and go off is that the abs light is on the right and is a black thing that says abs its not in the speedo. But what if I was to go scrappy and get one that just has airbag light on it from a cl
My mates cl only had airbag and not abs in his panel thingy.

As iv just put in my other thread abouts breaks.
Bled the brakes today and got LOADS of air out of the system. Brakes work great. But just went for 50 mile drive and the pedal has started to sink to the floor again wile sat I traffic and foot on it.
