Does anyone have an aftermarket immobiliser fitted  :huh:

If so any recommendations ?

Was my understanding too, think some kind of tracker is the next step up security level.

Quite expensive and a monthly fee iirc.

bluefin can be used as an immobiliser needing the hand unit to reactivate the ecu

An excuse to get a remap, Revo sps switch can also immobilise the ecu  :smiley:

He has a remap, he has the vwr stage 1 dealer fit kit.
Not sure who's map that is now Apr, revo or superchips as vwr change suppliers so much.

I have extra security on mine.

I would start with
 glass security film
Tracker ( gsm type are cheap enough)
Second immobiliser most are good nowadays.
Mk6 GTI  &  Mk1 GTI 
34 years of GTI ownership.
