Window wipers juddering...brand new car

Haven't had this with mine which is only 2 weeks old...

I gave mines a good clean with vinegar diluted water then buffed the screen with one scrunched up newspaper. Cleaned the blades with vinegar. Then I cleaned again with everyday glass cleaner.

So far they are smooth as can be! I let then go with the scooshers for a while and didn't judder once.

Looks as though VW are putting something on the screen thats causing the rubber to stick!

Ps, I hosed the car down tonight and noticed there was some form of soapy water mixture. Possibly a protection film thats been sprayed all over?

All the vinegar on the planet will not fix this problem, so it's utterly pointless suggesting it! Unless someone has got some magic formula other than the dozens I tried, then a new screen is the only fix that actually works!! I tried everything suggested on here, pointless.

There is nothing wrong with the wipers or the blades. The screen - or whatever sh!te is on it from Wolfsburg is the issue. Sounds very drastic I know, but it's all that worked for me. The dealers fobbed me off with "washing solution" but until I got them to replace the screen for a different problem entirely, the squeaking just wouldn't go away.

Now the same wiper blades that drove me fcuking crazy squeaking are today perfectly silent, on a different new screen. I never have to wash the blades or wipe vinegar on the screen, they just work !

Use sparingly and buff thoroughly with a microfibre; it will remove all the crap off the windscreen. Removed rain repellent totally off my windscreen that *nothing* else would touch - tried meths, vinegar, a range of windscreen cleaners and more.

Use with a DA to remove scratches and marks from glass. Successfully removed some "serious" hazing from someones windscreen.

Steel wool will remove any crap left on the window and won't scratch. I do it yearly to all the family cars and the shine it creates way exceeds any cleaning solution.

I'd never previously have attempted this but had an old car resprayed (badly) years ago and had some fall out paint on the glass. When I complained he told me to try the steel wool but obviously could see the expression on my face I didn't trust him. So he disappeared for a bit then came back with the wool and started to steel wool his own top of the range BMW windows!!  Not a mark and all the traffic film over the window had gone.

The only downside is the small amount of steel wool that falls from the clump you are using. It needs to be either hoovered up or hosed away.

Hmmm interesting. If my wipers start juddering again I'll give this a go! :-)
