Join SAS, you should if you want to surf in clean water!

I dont do it so much nowadays due to work and other commitments and mostly bodyboard now but still enjoy when I can.

I've surfed on and off for 20 years, been round Ireland in a camper and surfed some world class breaks, Easkey left at double overhead was just awesome, we stayed there a week!!

Locally surf all round the North Wales coast depending on swell and wind direction, don't get out as much as I would like due to working stupidly long hours but quite recently bought a longer board as the 6ft boards I used to ride are too hard work these days!! I keep telling myself to go out more often and I will....

I used to bodyboard almost every day when I was younger, used to live in a small village called Crantock near Newquay lived literally 10 min walk from the beach. It was awesome! I miss it sometimes but no chance of going back anytime soon as the misses hates it down there bloody townies

Considered myself to be pretty good at it though now I'd probably be laughing material for the locals

Rented boards are usually the rubber foam things that the surf schools use.
The surf shops in Newquay will rent out proper boards.

Is anyone familiar with north west Wales?

I am going tomorrow for a few days and am taking the boards. Anywhere quiet to go?
