Is anyone familiar with north west Wales?

I am going tomorrow for a few days and am taking the boards. Anywhere quiet to go?

Head for Black Rock Sands, about 5 mins from porthmadog, you can drive straight onto the beach.

I drive through Porthmadog every morning on my way to work. You won't get any surf on Black Rock ever but its a nice big sandy beach.

Your only hope of any surf in the next week or so will be Hells Mouth (Porth Neigwl) or Porth Ceriad (stunning break but a hard unforgiving wave) both near to Abersoch.
