Bora vents

Considering doing this mod but im not 100% yet

If i was to purchase the loom to do it does that simply click into somewhere? What im saying is, is there any cutting of wires?

Is it a relatively simple thing to do?

Im happy to do most things but anything involving wires scares me

Make sure you get the illuminated ones (there are non-illuminated look same floating around).
No wire snipping necessary.  You can use a scotch lock into the headlight switch wiring and just ground it out to the chassis.

It's not too bad Rich, the plugs are nigh on £3 each now, repair wire £1.20. You're talking £12 for parts plus wire, a scotch lock and ring terminal, heatshrink, along with sleeve to make it look neat and I bet you'd be nearly there with the price

Cheers for the help guys

"and attach the remaining two wires to any illumination source (Headlight switch etc for Power)"

Thats the phrase i dont like. So even when you buy the ready made loom you still have to chop some wires.

A scotch lock will put a tiny nick in the wire casing in the cars loom allowing you to take a feed off it without cutting it. If you ever want to remove it you can and there will be hardly anything visable. It's just less intrusive than chopping and soldering wires

Rich - I'm useful sometimes

Running on empty now though, driving to Inters and back has done me in lol
