Yep as far as I'm aware if you've spec'd the lux pack i.e folding mirrors then you will get the puddle lights...

Out of interest, are the puddle lights effective or a bit of a gimmick ?
Anyone got any pics of them illuminating the area around the car ?

When you've parked your car in an unlit gravel carpark and it's been pissin it down, they are definately not a gimmick!

I've got them and find them useful, and not a gimmick. They've saved me from standing in something unpleasant in the dark before getting in the car and trampling it into my mats! 

They also do a good job of providing just enough illumination when getting out of the car in a dark garage, if I've forgotten to pull the indicator stalk to activate the coming home function.

I got the luxury pack primarily for the folding mirrors, as my garage isn't the biggest, and folding the mirrors give a bit more clearance. The puddle lights are an added bonus.

I agree, they look nice but they should be standard IMO. People talk about BMW's being basic unless you spec them but puddle lights are standard on those.
