Nothing to do with the shell that the engine happened to be in? A mk2 compared to a mk4? I bet the derv had too much torque to be able to put it down on an off the line start. From like 30mph I bet the derv would seriously own...

Sozzzz. Read it as a mk2 with a LCR transplant!  :tongue:

I still reckon a 'rolling start' derv wins...I'd really like to see that!!! :evil:
