Boost problem
« on: 13 June 2012, 20:40 »
Hi guys I have a 1.8t aum the problem I am getting is at about 3000rpm I'm loosing boost. It's intermitant sometimes she fly lovely and boost up good but other times it's like driving a standard 1.8, I have checked for leaks visually and it all seems fine the engine management light also comes on with codes p1602 which was voltage supply terminal low,30 voltage low?? Also code 6100 which I could not work out what that was. I had the codes erased twice but obviously it returned after about 100 miles. I was thinking that maby it's the n75 valve not allowing the actuator open so it could be faulty. If anyone knows of this problem please let me know. The most recent work I had done was my gearbox and clutch. The gearbox was a reconditioned one. Thank you guys

Have you tried uplugging the MAF, and seeing if it runs better?

as this guys said. check for air leaks exhuast blow anything breather pipes. and that voltage fault your on about comes in when you let the battery run flat or take battery off

Id still unplug the MAF and see if it runs better, failing that the pipe after the pancake pipe or on the plate where the N75 and N112 are
