it does start spooling around 2.2k but only like 4-5 psi not much pull then at 3.7-4k it hits full boost and goes and smokes my tyres

....take it to a proffesional tuner and get them to look at it. My k04-001 give full torque about 3000rpm

As said in the other thread, it really needs looking at by a tuner to see if its software or hardware.
My Gt28rs is on full chat by then so would expect yours to be a bit sooner.
Your FMIC is very big though, is it not? That may create the lag you describe. Or it could be other hardware/piping issues that have not been found yet, or the actual map.
Or driving style, maybe?

By the looks of the picture on the other thread it's one of them smaller eBay intercoolers like the toyosport etc nowhere near as big as the ths of forge cooled so I highly doubt that is causing the lag.

Fair enough, couldn't quite remember what one it was and if it was small or disappeared up behind the crash bar! That eliminates one possibility then...

Who were you told provided the economy map? They are probably the best people to start with?

That would only beig adding to the bodgery.
I take it to a pro turner who knows what they are doing. They joule be able to give you the low down.
Simply fiddling isn't gonna fix the problems.
