could do with a full diagnostic check (preferably on a standard map) instead of a quick power run but from the limited logging info i did get, load requests being met without loading up the n75 duty cycle, negligible timing correction and close enough maf logs.. i would expect more from a stage 2 agu/k03s combo.

Maybe just a stage1 map on there then?  You still got your MPPS tool I can fire over a file to test which I know should give over 200bhp with ease on a k03s AGU, you will be fine over writing the Revo map its just the Me7 which can be iffy.

I did consider it, but without the ability to read a backup to put back on afterwards, it could leave the customer in an awkward position regarding a refund or tweaks from the place he had it mapped. I've no doubt that a full diagnostic session would highlight some weak components.. most 1.8Ts seem to suffer that  but imo first step is back to the place it was done.

Best to be safe than sorry, I am like that with new MED9 EDC17 ecus.....  Sorry Sir your getting a bus home... :lipsrsealed:

M3.8 will always recover fine even after failed flash, only time it will sh@t a brick is if the ecu is running an EVC protection PCB, then all you need to do is solder chip direct back to ecu and flash with MPPS with dash fuse out, Or if you ever get locked out just fly ecu upto me.   Or number 2 go on ebay and buy old AGU ecus for £20 and stock them up as it only take 10 secs to recode the immo via VCDS and all the Golf AGU PCBs are the same so no matter what numbers on ecu you can flash 018R 018CG 018CH ect and have no issues.

Fingers crossed it will be 200+bhp soon.

nick loves playing with agus, and i think his new live mapping gadget will work with your ecu. you might want to look at a forge actuator if you want to get the most from the k03s

Yeah and he's supposedly good with vag and built a few vr6 supercharge. Suppose I'll have to wait a couple of weeks ATP save up and book into r-tech. The  best of it is he started turning actuator. It's also been the 4th time I've been to him and every time he's said boost leak. But I'm sure wen topher had it on rollers it would of shown signs of this. Oh yeah web he said about boost leak he told me to take front intercooler off and join boost pipes with out intercooler on and if it's runs ok it's my intercooler. And if not its my turbo
