i dont know if it would lose that much but i can say from seeing it myself that mine was losing power from it as for the pipe work you may need check to see if any are being broken or summat or dealers but they gonna be a bit more expensive

  • No scammers please.
I would say its losing power from the dv .Its got a weak spring in it, set up for a non mapped car. I would give it a good service too. Check for any boost leaks ie: oily boost pipes.
AGU 1.8T. Mods done: R32 front bumper, turborev smic, ngk platinum spark plugs, uprated pancake pipe, demon motorsport boost hoses, forge 007 dv, forge engine cover, r-tec stage 1 map ,home made cold airfilter ,run on 98 ron fuel and castrol edge 0w 40 oil. Advanti racing alloys.

  • "i'm not spending any money on it" Got a Hybrid!
If its not a twin piston dv it deffo won't work well, get a recirc valve and take the recirced side back to the tip (r/h/s plugged pipe) with a long pipe

I have seen them valves lose 20bhp+ with ease.

You also want to check the PCV system for leaks.
Other things to check are throttle body opening, cam timing, over reading MAF, naf N75 and weak actuator

It get a good picture of whats going on you will need to log blocks 013 and 025. (ebay for a vcds lead)

I would ecpect a good running AGU to make 150-155bhp in stock form, any lower then I would state to look for issues.
