tyres rubbing

hi, im new on here,was with a subaru club,now got me a 2000 gti turbo,
i think it has 18inch rs6 5 spoke alloys? on full lock the wheels scrape.
tyres are 225/45/18  love the wheels but cant do with scraping all the time,
any advice thank you, and hello :smiley:

is it lowered if so will more than likely be the anti roll bar rubbing on driveshaft uprated arb needed like the mk1 audi tt which goes under rather than over the driveshaft

also 225/40/18 is normally the tyre used

I would say you should almost definitely not rub with that set up...Strange.  :undecided:

how much is it rubbing, could try putting a bit of streach on the tyres?

also take one wheel off and look at driveshaft, see if the arb is rubbing on it, that could be the cause of the rubbing, if so Clicky or raise the car up a little

ive seen golfs running them before, so could be the arb as said. was actually going to get a set for my car before i got the current alloys.
