my old engine used to do this mate and one night was sat waiting for over an hour before it would restart but as i seized the engine i never got to find out what it was am still curious now as seen a few ppl with this but no one ever seems to post up what the cause was sorry cant be of more help dude

did you change the fuel filter when you did the pump? these cars really dont like being run empty/low on fuel.

No. I wouldn't think that would have caused the hesitation and loss of boost would it?. The car does seem like not enough petrol getting threw but then again seems to run rich

Ok it been 2 weeks and I still got problem. Anybody any ideas wot I can check for. I've got it ticking over and can feel a slight miss fire. And just I had bonnet up wen the revs dropped I could hear it sucking air threw filter. Loads. Anybody??

put standard airbox back on and take that induction crap kit off ..did you change ignition amp then? when my maf went on my agu it drove very rich and was hesitating everywhere.. and what caused it was a ebay induction kit  :rolleyes: but i did not have misfire and all that  :undecided:
did problem get worse after you put in used coil packs?

It's proper k&n and was on car wen I bought it 8 months ago. So wouldn't think it's that. And it was still same wen I changed coil packs and yes changed ignition amp. My mate has said he worked on a car that was doing same and it was the oil pump. Web that was changed it was ok.

Under heavy load/boost ive had AGU coilpacks start to misfire.  Had me and nick puzzled for ages! What plugs you running?
