French hot hatches are legendary on the twisties its just the other 90% of the time you just wish you were in something else, like the legend which is the GTI.
It's far better screwed together than I expected, I'll give it that.
Too hardcore for me...but as a drivers car, it must be epic.
I agree this would see off a GTI on the bends but this really only matters on a track. If you are going to drive that much faster than a GTI can go on the road then you are insane 
Why did you buy a GTI not an S?
Surely the purpose of a hot hatch (if that's what a GTI is) is to entertain and allow you to go down a road faster than in an S?
So why does that only become relevant on the track?
That R26R finds grip where a GTI has long since given up, and the way the chassis works is amazing...it feels so light on it's springs (probably because it is).
Still too hardcore for me though. But I admire a company bonkers enough to build somethi ng like that.
