Kinda slack TBH, as I met with government inspectors the other week, and the boss was very clear with me that I had to "at least wear a shirt". My ethos is funk that, you pay me for the knowledge and skills I bring to the table and not what I look like, so cream jumper over black T-shirt it was.

I'm shaved headed, constant stubble, and a goatee to boot.

Inspector was happy, Head of Service was happy, Service Managers commented on my good performance and someone else let it be known that the inspector felt more comfortable and relaxed talking to me, all despite my "irregular" dress code.
So I don't get what harm facial fuzz is, and as for haircut??? WTF? For me Nick, carry on as you are squire, and as Jay says, someone has said summat, so if it raises again, ask who and why. Does the company have an acceptable dress code policy? If not....I see a pay out if they get rid of you on the grounds youre hairy...would they dismiss a women employee who was hirsute?
