Where the hell is my coolant temp sensor?

As it tittle where the hell is my temp sensor? I can't find it anywhere.
It's the 1.6 16v engine.

It's doing my head in now.
Does anybody tell me where it's located PLEASE

it should be located near the grill being your front bumper I think

right hand side of the engine, you will see a plug going to a pipe, it's under there

iv been looking most of the day just cant find it. had them pipes off today.
where is it near the thermostat?
anybody got a pic of it on the 1.6 16v?

its the green plug u can just see the green onit make sure ur car isnt warm/hot when u remove as water will piss out


remove retaining clip but keep it incase another didnt come with the new sensor then the plug will pull out

cheers mate. what engine is that on? look completely diferant to mine.

comes off the thermostat housing on a 1.6 if i remember right. should be plainly visible to be honest, especially if you have the new sensor in your hand to compare.
