bet its not a boost leak. If it was fine then running sh!t. Go for common faults ie: ign amp , maf (bet its not that). Agu are mint , tighten all boost pipes , get fault code reader. But if you think its in limp mode , got to say its your ign amp. Its common if you removed it .Trust me. But there £60.

beginning to think this myself, ordered that code reader off ebay so will wait for that, maybe even try n wangle a free check from somewr local, when you say removed it, iv just placed it out the way, i was curious about this when i took it off the airbox and asked on here, u reckon it cud be knacked, is there a way to test it

common faults suck. First place to look. Me and your + load of peoples fault for removing the amp from the airbox. One comment told me what it was ( it sounds like a retarded subaru)   your not wrong there. £60 later it was fixed. But still run a cold air filter, but put pc heat paste on amp were the alloy heat sink sit .VW put jack sh!t behind it.

I just changed spark plug, i was does about to put old ones in then thought ign amp. You need to check your tip first. If its all tight get a new amp.

tip seems fine and all clips etc are tight, only dodgy one is the 1 near the turbo inlet which links to the pvc system, however i think this is sound, will a faulty amp bring up a fault code
cant remember what plugs, bosch ones, looked them up in there manual, but found out when i got home that they wr 0.1 mm of a difference, as i said its been fine, might put the old ones bk in to rule them out
