Just downloaded endomondo and run keeper to see wich ones best they both look good though another one that I found to be quite good on the iPhone is imapmyride suppose it's personal preference though as to wich one you choose.

Does the gps still work if the phone is in a back pack?
I often wonder why people never expect sarcastic comments from me - they're the only reason I speak...

i did the same and told it I was on a bike when i first got it

It does highlight any dubious calcs.

I had it on in my jacket pocket.. and it didnt lose any data and mapped exactly where I had gone. Which was handy as I didnt have a clue!

The basic has enough features.. but the pro takes it one step further

Yup, all works fine. I use it when I bike to work (although I brought the Pro version when it was on the 10 apps for 10 days promo) and got it for ten pence which cannot be a bad thing.

I'm liking the look of the endomondo app like the way the map comes up as a satellite image. What I will say though is if you download a load of the apps to test be careful if your testing them all in one ride as I did the other day it killed my battery.
On the battery dying subject could anyone recommend a good power pack or solar charger system to keep my phone charged while I ride? Thanks in advance.
