Simple thing to do is go in or speak to the sales manager he is the one who needs to loose the cost of them fitted. The salesman will just be relaying the info to him or easier as previously posted if you don't get anywhere with the dealer, phone VW customer services. The problem they have is they have simply set fire to £96 them selves, and already charged by the service/parts dept. For the sake of £21 they are going to regret not just saying I tell you what I can't change it but I will put £96 of fuel in so come back for the other £21 and I will put it in your car.

As far as the tank of fuel they are offering, surely they would be putting at least 1/4 of a tank in anyway or some to at least get you home .is this not included in purchase price ? (I dont know as its 8 years since I bought a new car ) .
As far as cleaning the car have a good read of the detailing world site www.detailingworld.co.uk  as it will surprise and shock you how much crap there is on a new car.(If you really want it done get a professional to do it ).

Today has been a very good day 
Problem with trim refund resolved to my satisfaction in the way of lots of "complimentary" super unleaded fuel.....

So; after waiting 8 painful months, the big day finally arrived.

really nice car mate

keep them mud flaps on. i fitted some to my CW a week after i got it and it definitely keeps the sides cleaner.


now get some wax on that car ASAP!
