Thing is braking from 60mph is the same for all cars, be it whether you have 1000hp or 100hp.

Bearing in mind £20 gets you some cheap ass pads from AVS car parts it's not bad price £20 for some Mintex pads

I meant all cars the same weight

Put myself and Brad's car as an example. If we're both on the motorway and we both brake we're going to require the same stopping power, even though he's got 100hp more than me

my car will soon have over 300BHP and ill still be keeping the back set up the same

iv got the same front set up as khare too, and the perform superb even with my engine. however after extreme heavy breaking from 150 down to 30 the pads were smoking very very badly (to the point i thought i was going to have a fire on my hands..

Now its not everyday you will give them so much abuse but the front brakes on mine are going to be swapped out for something more capable at some point soon

Its even worse on my car, with an auto there is no engine braking like with a manual car.
I'm not sure what the size of the discs are, but its got 4 brake pads on each wheel

Yes a brake overhaul is a bit steep
Discs are 314 x 30 as well.
If you are going for 300bhp plus, you're going to need to uprate yours  :lipsrsealed:
