What makes you think it isn't more rewarding?

Well it depends what you want out of life.

I'm not one for earning/having loads of cash I'm more of a friends/family guy. So IMO, it's more rewarding. Plenty of mates prefer the single lifestyle, clubbing loads of girls etc lifestyle and working a lot and earning loads.

Fair play to them.

I'm the complete opposite now I have the kids, not necessarily cos of the missus although I am starting to appreciate her more after the sh!t year we've had due to health reasons on her part.

It's nice to have someone to share stuff with and I don't think I'd be the person I am today or have the things I have if I wasn't with her; I'd probably be laying in a gutter somewhere in a narcotic fuelled state...

It is nice being with someone. But I guess I'm reevaluating things since splitting with my girl. It wasn't working, but I do miss her like mad.

Times like this make me think, isn't life simple when you're used to being single? Nothing to do with being able to pull just anyone, just no complications, no what ifs and the way things are when it goes wrong.

Is it heck!

If I was single I'd have to think about things like how food was going to appear on the table (go shopping and then do cooking, wtf?), more housework to do, no one to do DIY or fix the car for me. No  one to walk to dog when I don't want to. No one to care for me when I'm ill.

AND I'd have to like, try and look nice or some sh!t to find some other bloke who'd more than likely turn out to be a complete kn0b...

No thanks single = complete and utter suck imo

I wonder if anyone who thinks that single is better has just not met ''the one'' yet because when it properly works it makes life so much easier because you help each other with everything and really there shouldn't be any conflicts or anything to create hassle or problems.
