There are a few owners of VCDS's cables around your area, try Stealthwolf, he's in Birmingham and normally happy to help.

Is the VCDS something a dealer would do if selling you the parts or is this asking too much of the VW techs ?!?

I think I'll wait until I can get it checked by one you Guys on here as if they refuse or try to charge me I will get frustrated with them.
