i believe so as you have to thread the wires through the middle of scuttle panel bit and mk3 you dont iirc.. im not 100% trial fit on your car  :smiley:

im useing the 02a geabox with cable shift and hydrolic clutch, it obviously has an electric speedo sensor, this isnt gunna wrk onmy mk2 clocks is it?

Unscrew the electronic sender from the top of the gearbox and screw on a mechanical drive cable from a really early B3 Passat.  You will probably be into VW parts for this and I suspect the part number is somewhere in the Golf2 section.

Not sure whether the ratio in the standard clocks is right.  I know I went through a couple of different clocks before I got the right speedo.  :grin:
