Okay, it has been a good while since I fitted the RNS to my last mk6, and that car didn't have Dynaudio or Bluetooth.
Last time round it was just a matter of bolting the thing in and enabling the 'BAP' in VCDS. Not that I can remember how I even did that bit, thankfully Morty gave me idiot proof instructions with the unit at the time.
So this time round I have factory Bluetooth and Dynaudio to contend with when fitting my early model RNS (no star button) that is running 27** software.
I've asked a mate from another forum if I can once again make use of his VCDS and thus wonder if anyone can give me an idiot proof guide as to what bits I need to code in and what should work automatically before I start the install.
There are bound to be loads of changes to the electronics of the later model car (this car doesn't even give be a bulb out warning with my LED tails!!) on top of the other factory additions specced on this model.
Hell, I expect his VCDS is running later firmware than last time round too as I'm sure it looked different the other week when I recoded the lights back to non-LED mode before the old car went in part-ex.
Also, are there any other recommended little tweaks I can make whilst I've got the VCDS cable in my sweaty hands? Staging was one that sprung immediately to mind

so what else have I forgotten over the last few years?
