forget orange just book appointment with the apple store (you can do it online) they will replace your phone their and then if its manufacture fault

my mate spilt beer all over his, got a appointment at the sheffield store in meadowhall the same day he went online and booked it, they gave him a new phone on the spot no messing

top customer service. thats the only good thing about owning anything Apple

What have you owned thats made by apple ?

Meh this sites gone down this road too many times, my bad and too much of sweeping statement from me.

My history with mac goes as far back as an original Macintosh if you know what that is...

The most recent offering i've had was an Ipad.... Over priced sh*t in my opinion, used it for 2 weeks and found it pretty useless.  They make some great products, just think that if people didn't just go for style hype they would see that there are far better phones out there than anything apple have ever produced.

no i dont know what an original Macintosh is LOL!!..

i dont use them for looks. i use them for the performance.. which is something a PC cant match for the aplications i use it for

Cant comment on ipads or ipods as i have no use for either so wouldnt waste the money in the first place

as for phones... its like i said in another thread. its a matter of opinion.. i personally think they make the best phones and thats the reason other manufacturers copy not only the looks but also the way their phones operate..

Misky, sorry for going off topic their. glad you got it sorted, told you they would but let us know how you get on

Macintosh was their first proper home computer

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Macintosh

I will always have PCs and laptops in my home because my job revolves around them, microsoft based servers and Linux.  However I am fool on the personal application side of things as I agree on the performance comment in many cases.  I have a home studio totally based on rack mounted PCs... Not clever and not common these days but I simply cannot afford to go mac in this area for now.

For MIDI based music production I still miss my Atari 1040 as this was a very robust studio machine that's operating system was very similar to that of the orignal Mac.
