Scrapped my knuckles once

while getting your phone out of your pocket to call the AA?

  Or opening the bonnet on the Vauxhell.

Slick, sounds nasty, dull, thudding pain?

Worst I had, was when I owned a Renault Megane coupe 2.0 16v.  The ones before the big ass one.  

I was dropping the bonnet and it slid through my fingers.  I was holding it in one hand by the badge.  The bonnet has a small nose type pointy bit.  Anyway, as it slid through my fingers the edge of the bonnet sliced my right index finger in two, between the first and second knuckle.


Lots of blood and lots of bone on show.  The A&E nurse was quite a looker.

Nothing more than scraped knuckles, small cuts and stuff, and some spec burns on my arms from grinding! 
Edit: oh yeah I almost sliced my finger off when removing the if on the window regulator. Plug was really tight, so lots of force and it flew off, and my finger sliced along the sharp rim of the inner door. Ouch - or words to that effect were spoken (shouted)!
In work though, I have been thrown about 8 ft back by a 440v signal lamp that had shorted. Wasn't my equipment so I had a few choice words to the maintainer after I had picked myself out of the puddle of piss and vomit I woke up sat in!

just the usual cuts and scrapes although when trying to take out my wooden interior i ended up nearly slicing my finger off (dont ask how)

I thought it was ok at first so carried on then the blood started pooring out, felt fine so washed it and wrapped it up etc till about 5 mins later when i started to feel really faint so had to have a sit down lol, then got back to work.

Now i try and take a bit more care when doing bits to the car

got my arm trapped between the arch and the wheel of my mk3 with the full weight of the car on it. The missus and my neighbour were chatting to me at the time and when it happened they just looked at me and did nothing (because i didn't scream or make noise). I had to reach for the jacking arm, turn the screw and jack the car up with my free hand whilst they stood there looking stupid.

Took the skin off of my wrist with a pressure washer and rusty sharp rotten back box fell off from above me and grazed my nose and left me with a black eye.
