car owes me too much  :cry:
it's 3dr with audi flush door handles, has audi s3 leather recaro's, arches rolled and flared. bumpers fully smoothed, front has no numberplate recess. brand new yoko paradas. straight through exhaust, simota carbon fiber induction kit. engine rebuild that cost £2800. no mot or tax. yours for £2000

sounds like a dream mate!!! unfortunately im not that flush lol!!

just been getting wuotes for insurance, £800+ and iv got 7 years ncb! WTFFFFFF

just been on the phone to adrian flux, and their telling me the reason why they quoted £1000+ for 12months is because VR6's have so much "grunt" that people have been flipping their vr6 or overshooting corners etc etc blah blah blah

what a load of ball ocks!!!!

hahahaha bollox. I insure my gti for £365 fall comp, I then swap it for the vr6 at no extra cost  :wink:
my insurance was £265 until I moved a mile up the road and put it in a garage  :huh:

who you with tweed? as my 8v is 400, 26, 9years driving, 7yrs ncb no convictions or anything!!!

@wayne, dragongreen, etc etc just got off phone to the bloke selling the vr lump and extras, £200, the bloke had heard it running prior to him buying it but never got round to fitting, says its still full of oil and been out of a car for 6months.

Dosn't sound bad at all atleast if it was running and thats whats made him buy it then really its a matter of replaing and servicing it as you would anyway if you meet up with him and he's lieing you can tell if he keeps looking left lol seen it on the bill etc hahaa give him some tester questions ask if there was any service history for it and if he's got the clocks or a photo etc nice one  :smiley:

how much am i looking for a timing kit? i dont know the reg of the car apart from the fact that it was an L reg so ecu dont need de-immobilising which is a touch!

getting a complete straight through stainless exhaust inclu down pipe and manifold for a £100 too. only thing is its de-catted, now whats the score with cats? pre 95 dont need one? or pre 92?

guys im going to be changing me engine mounts, these are listed by tierod, i know he is usually very good but would these be ok for me?
