"Go standalone. Kstar is old hat. You should be able to release alot more potential with an SEM"

Just read this, its been a while! Virtually no progress on the car

If I can fix the Kstar then I will reuse it, everything is there ready to connect back up and it did do the job. If I have too then I won't have any choice but to go standalone but I'm hoping to avoid that for now...

I posted in wanted earlier today as I want another one to canibalise, someone has just got back to me saying they have one in a car they are breaking so fingers crossed......

Bit of luck, but sem gives laptop tuning just like fast and furious

You don't own a Mk2, you support it.

Unfortunately, no!

Its my busiest time of year at work and I have loads of projects on the go, so the golf is sat in the garage in primer until I catch up at work, which may be some time!

Can't believe how long its been!

I went to a VW show at Stanford Hall over the weekend and its inspired me to crack on with the Golf which has been sat in the garage with not much happening for far too long!

The fact that the weathers getting better and the nights are longer has got to help too!

Still need to sort out the engine management, never sorted my faulty Kstar, although I do have another unit to play with, I could do with a Kstar with a map sensor input already on it...

Picked up some new front wings today from a friends body shop, they are in primer and the arches have been professionally rolled.

Got them in my garage when I got home from work at 8.30 tonight and sprayed the insides with black Shultz, when they are completely dry I will trial fit them and get them fitting right, they will come off again for the top coats.

Finally some progress!
