Update time!

Went to Holland for a MIVW over the weekend and left the car with a mate who is developing his own FMIC kit. The core is similar to the THS/Forge ones, the pipework is fully custom and tries to minimise the number of joins (note it was me that attacked the pipe with spray paint!):

The o/s bumper grill was trimmed back too much, a new one is on order and will be trimmed back but all slats will remain intact:

The kits will be available soon on his website: www.onlychargeddubs.co.uk

While the car was on the ramp I have a check over the underside, running the car this low is starting to have an effect:

I also bought an armrest which is something I've been after for a while:

Finally I swapped some of the vac lines to black hoses instead of red:

The others will be changed eventually.

I'm off on holiday again on Sunday for a week, when I'm back a BIG update will be coming

So, I've had a busy couple of days!

Got back from holiday at 5.30am Monday morning, up again at 9.30 to go and visit Matt at OCD (new forum sponsor - see here).

Matt offered me a great deal on air at the start of the month so I ordered it and this week was set aside to fit it!

The setup I went for was the following:

-Autopilot V2 Management
-4 Gallon Pancake Tank
- Viair 444c Compressor
- Slam Series XL Front Bags
- Firestone Rear Bags
- 3/8" Lines

So by the end of the day Monday all the wiring was complete, lines were ran and a floor was cut for the spare wheel well. Tuesday morning chassis notch was done, bags were fitted and tank/compressor/manifold were temporarily bolted down leaving it looking like this:

The arches need to be rolled as they are sitting on the tyres with 10psi still in each corner, when that is done it should be sitting a lot better.

I then got cracking with the boot build which I will update later!

I stripped the boot and plastered Dynamat all over the wheel well:

I then removed everything from the boot and laid it out where I want it permanently:

Carpeted it:

Refitted tank:

Everything bolted back down:

This is how it currently sits, I've cut a false floor from MDF which I haven't got a picture of. Plan for tomorrow is to carpet the wheel well, then I'm waiting for perspex to arrive to create a cut out for the false floor. That will be carpeted, some lights will be fitted and job done
