TDI's how many models were there? spec? etc, please help...

Didn't have a choice with the Audi as I wasn't the first owner lol.  It only had 1 service in 24,000 miles before I bought it

Oil was changed at 18K and then I changed it 29K although that was well ahead of the apparent 15,000 miles still to go before its next service

Injectors are the same I believe

You get more bhp out of a 130; upto 50bhp in some cases whereas the 150 tends to make about 30-40bhp

Also the 130 tends to make more torque; most of the 150's seem to struggle to make over 300lbs ft torque 

Certainly the 170 engine in my Audi doesn't produce as much torque as my old 130 and the driving experience is very different. 

and what happens after a little while....

130 m8  i have  bora sport 115 and chipped it and its at 155bhp and its quick enough!! or you can get a 130 pd and it will remap up to 170 180 if very lucky  all 130 gt tdi are 6 speed and so are most 115 !! i have heard problems with 150s so i would keep away 

get problems with 130's as well

130's are both 5 and 6 speed btw.

Thought it was the 115's that were 5 and 6 speed? 

I know the 130 engine in the Audi's were 5 speed only

My point.

I wasn't sure if we were just talking VW or across the range so covered both.

Then your forgetting about the 160PD If we were talking about the whole range.
