Thanks for explaining, better take out the VW locking wheel nuts and replace them with the ones provided.

Good man...it's for the best.
You can limp home on 4 bolts, but I would never suggest hammering about on only 4 correct bolts - which is what a missmatch of seats/bolts gives you.

Did'nt realise you could have two different type's of wheel bolts. :embarassed:
Invaluable info! (hope i spelt that correctly!)

When I told my Tyre Fitter about the purchase of BBS wheels, he alerted me about the bolts. I am beginning to trust him more and more.

Sunday: Would it be possible to take a full frontal picture of your wheels, please?

Christ, Gilly, why can't you let me go to bed?
Paid for them. Will be fitted with my Michelin PA3 winters on Saturday 1st October 2011 at 9 am. :smug:
It's called way-forward planning. Hope it meets with your approval.

...and to think, I bought two sets of BBS CHs whilst having an unrelated conversation!

Reducing my Golf count by the week....

I can just see the headlines now....

"tropical winter for britain"

Temperatures are set to reach unprecedented highs this winter, with parts of southern england basking in highs of over 30oC!

One thing I will say Asker...... if I was you I'd be sticking the new BBS CK's on now and enjoying them over the summer. Those wheels are far to nice to be sitting in a garage somewhere waiting for the 'tropical winter' to set in.

Anyway winter tyres are for women and gravy loving northeners! Us southern softy shandy drinkers just don't need them. Saying that I got frigging stuck in the snow last year!

So to conclude.... lifes to short so get those CK's on asap and post some pictures.
