2mm clearance on a 280mm upgrade or standard 256mm?

They aren't G60 discs, they are 280mm VR6 5x100 Corrado disks.

Thanks

Me too!

What's your set up then?

VR6 280mm calipers and carriers + G60 discs?

thanks

it was very confusing

you need 280mm carriers from a pre 95 car or hubs are drfferent.

280mm disks - i bought G60 ones from vwspares.co.uk

std 16v pads and used std callipers. You will need to modify the slide pins. The first set i used angle grinder
but then did another set in workshop at work when i got sizes right.

it's about 3mm you need to remove - easy with a lathe.

So why wont the 280mm calipers fit?

I'm sure I've read plenty of posts in the past saying they do fit.

Which part of the alloy do they hit?
