Tuning Options - Views Sought!

Hi gents, with GTI international getting closer and the inevatible discount people will be doing I have a choice to make.  I either go for

Option 1 - VWR Stage 1 - £1,600
  • 250hp ECU Mod (REVO Code)
  • VWR Rear Exhaust
  • VWR Panel Filter

Option 2 - REVO Plus others - £1,230
  • REVO Stage 1 including the Switch
  • Milltek Cat-Back Exhaust
  • ITG Pro Filter

Now on paper I think just on cost alone most would give it to the REVO set up, however with the VWR kit you get a warranty and my VW dealer has advised they don't have any issues with upgrades carried out by VWR.

So, over to your expert views, even if you're not an expert your views are still appreciated.

The warranty aspect of the VWR is important although I am partial to a Milltek so it was close fought.

I'm mpg sure if it is such a discernible difference so I might bs tempted to go for the best overall package of price / performance / warranty.

Option 2 + a sports cat as that will really free up the mid-range

Sorry to rain on this parade, but it is all pretty
pointless and a complete  waste of money unless you can use it on a track at least once a week.
Emulate Mr.P and get a track focused car. He saw the light, eventually.

Sorry but I don't agree with this comment one bit, that's the same argument as the one I hear all the time - why get a car that car can do 150mph when the speed limit is 70mph.
