Erm...no.
It's Superchips..they use a bluefin to install the maps...although I did hear they (VWR) were also going to offer REVO maps.
Certainly the early VWR maps are Superchips, in Stage 1 and Stage 2 trim.

Sorry but but I spoke to VWR two weeks ago and they told me the current Stage 1 map for the MK6 is supplied by REVO.  I also spoke with the REVO Sales Manager last week and he confirmed this.

Jim

The clue might be in the highlighted wording.
Believe me, the earlier stuff installed using a Bluefin unit and the maps came from Superchips.

Personally I would go for APR if just going Stage 1 after the issues with my REVO Stage 1. If you plan to go to Stage 2, then REVO is fine, my car is anyways! Going for a Milltek Cat Back aint going to do much preformance wise, just look good and add a bit of grunt, to go stage 2 you will need a new downpipe and sports cat so i would be more inclined in going for that first.

APR Stage 2+

Maybe the question to ask is not what are our opinions but "what would you like from your car" Jim?

The warranty has arrived and as I suspected, they have the same warranty as my company offer  :smug:

This is not an insurance backed warranty and is not going to be to the same level as the OEM warranty was as it only covers upto 10,000 pounds of damage.

And only comes into force if the "manufacturer can show that a failure is caused by a modification, then our warranty steps in to cover those elements."

I'll mail you a copy if you PM me your email address

Thanks Doc, I appreciate you looking into this.  The more I think about it the less I care about the warranty bit, my car is nearly two years old and if it goes pop, it goes pop!

To be honest I'm still none the wiser as to what to do with the car

Thanks again for everyone's opinions & advice.

POWER! I want more, but I want useable and I don't want torque steer although I could live with a very small amount.

SOUND! I want more of this too, but a deep noise not a noisy car!

Thanks again Doc.
