how too (bodge) fit a mk4 steering wheel

seems like alot of messin about in my opinion for a wheel that dont look any better than a mk3's...u would have been better off doing the mod on a mk5 wheel with radio controls

Mk4 wheel suits mk3 perfect

My wheel needs changing as its gone all soft in places, trying to find a good Mk3 wheel is harder than fitting a Mk4 wheel, this is why I will be changing mine for one
and its quite nice

if thats the case surely you could simply take the bulb out the clocks for the airbg warning light and mr mot tester would never know!

Tweed and i had a huge disscussion about the airbag system and the MOT. Sure it came to the conclusion that i thought  a resistor and no light would work but i was wrong and if your airbag was origonally fitted at factory its got to be there at test .

but how would that work if you have an after market steering wheel without airbag, if the light doesnt come on then theres no way of them knowing that the car came with an air bag surely?


thanks for the info though on the mod, going to use this to fit an audi RS TT/R8 steering wheel in the next few weeks.
