In Volksy Driver, they also say "There are no plans at present to sell this latest anniversary edition in Britain, althought it has been reported that Volkswagon UK may decide to market something similar in 2014"

Yeah, I was wondering whether Mr B had rushed back and put the info to press before he'd had a chance to read it all through properly. There are some anomolies with German spec from their write up too, but I reckon VW UK will try and limit the options as much as possible as by then it'll just be a runout model.

Change of policy, they're now only going to produce as many as they can be arsed and then suddenly terminate all UK orders before manufacture in order to start mk7 production, to pay us back for complaining last time round.

So with current VW build speed that'll be a grand total of 1?
