It looks like 18'' wheels in the photos, but I'd bet 19s are available as an extra (at a 'modest' sum too no doubt!!)

Same rims fitted to the Concept X Rocco at last years Worthersee, think these was 19" but not sure the Edition 35 will, they look a bit better on these shots though.

Like the colour of that Ed35 and that's it.
The worst features: seats then wheels then door mirrors.
Give up VW. It's beginning to look like a tart's hankey.

Hmmm... the wheels look quite good on the Scirocco, but not on the Golf.
Perhaps because the Golf ones look small in comparison - or maybe its the colour that doesn't suit.

The ED30 seats were the best of both worlds with their half and half trim.  Good for hot / cold weather.  Heated seats much more effective with the cloth base / back.  The bolsters were much more solid than cloth... and the seats still kept the tartan theme.  These don't LOOK as good - but should be pretty practical.

Oh yeah... and a golfball gear knob again!

The problem I have with the ED35 will be the cost, I bet it pushes the price far too close to the cost of an R, and who would buy an ED35 over an R - Not me for sure.

When I ordered an ED30 at the beginning of 2007, I was given the tough choice of that or an R32.  By the time I added xenons, armrest, rear tints and  highine computer to the ED30 - they were almost the same price as most of those options were included in the R32.
I took the ED30 for fuel economy, road tax and tunability.

The ED35 won't really have any of those benefits over the R in the MK6... so hopefully they'll price it a bit more competitively?

Yeah that's the bit I'm not convinced on, there isnt much room to move on the price I don't think, as the GTI costs far too much as it is, £31,500 for my spec car now! Which is mental.

Looks like it is €3150 (£2756) over the price of a standard GTI in Germany
