I'd miss a boot for a daily and a bit overkill for my tastes but............ what a bargain and what top job you've done and quickly too.  fair play. :afro:

Also agree that you may want to put something between the wood and the boot floor..............

Looking pretty pro dude.

How close are the 6x9s from hitting the top of your boxes? Looks like it could be close when shelf is down, but it might just be the camera angle.

Thank you for the comments guys, it is no where near done yet, just a small amount of progress, yes it is a over kill but i live music and i really love bass, so its what i like

As for sound deadining, it shall be done in the whole boot when money lets me, as you can tell this is a really budget build so i spend money on it if and when i have it, and tbh the only people im going to have in my car is either my gf or a mate so i have back seats for the space iv lost in the boot aha

The 6x9's clear by a good 1 - 2 inchs, and as they wont be needed for bass, just mid and high end i dont need to worry about the volume of space under them

got some quotes for carpet from a few shops today, i shall have a look online at some point, but tbh i think sound deadining might be first, i shall update as i go along, working on it all day sunday so should see some progess then, thanks for the comments guys

Right so finally i have made more progress on the boot build today, ill let the pictures do the talking :D
New role of carpet

The boxes all air tight and screwed

My girlfriend draw the template on the carpet then we wrapped them :)

Then i cut the holes out

Both done

Once i had done this i decided the amp shelf was a bit boring so i put a little twist in there

View from the back with the seats down

I have now managed to fit the subs for the last time and i have have tidied up the amp suppotrs just need to paint them black carpet the bottom half the false floor, build the rest of the false floor and make a battery box, so not to much
Comments are welcome :)

How it looks now with the subs in place and the amp runners cut down, i shall paint them black soon

Now i needed to make a battery box as im running one in the boot, where its going im not sure yet, but i think i have a plan, its a bit late now to be making more noise in the garage so this is what i have got done (sorry for the bad picture)

I shall carpet the box but first i need to decide where to mount it, Should have a few hours on it tomorrow night and wednesday morning
