Rocker cover looks good :afro:

Looks to me like your spraying waaay too much paint onto your badges. Lots of very very thin coats are much better than a couple of thick ones, it's particularly bad on the rear badge

Nice work on the rocker!

When spraying the rear badge take the backing plate off and colour code it, or remove altogether, other wise it looks like a black blog on the car

keep it up

Hi guys, its been a while since i have made an update on this, im on the forum but rarely have anough time to make an update, but here it is :)

So i thought i would find all the rust on the car and make a start on getting rid of it, for looks mainly but i think some of the patches may have been questioned on the mot. So i began to grind the patches down until i got right down to the clean metal, i then applied some stuff called krust? my dad told me to coat it on it goes on blue and ends up turning black so i did this on all the patches then painted red oxide on, just to help protect them a little, after this i then got on with filling and sanding filling and sanding filling and sanding and so on...... most are now done and coated with red primer but there a couple more patches that need a little more filler but no biggy. so here are some before and afters and just general progress

So first front right wing before

Now it looks like this, nearly done just a little more filler

Rear right wing before

Now

Again not finished but pretty close

Front left wing when i had applied krust

Now

Im pretty happy with this one

Rear left wing

Now

And the worst one witch i did not get a photo of was passenger front door sill but it looks like this now, not done but again very close

I jhust found this litle bit of rust aswell so might do this at some point

Aswell as all of that me and sam (rcsammy) Made a hole for my cold air feed pipe, not fitted yet but im going to get it through the mot first

Whilst all of this was going on my girlfriend kindly offered to paint my badges and re do the paint on my headlights for me ( she enjoys art and painting)
Joey mod now done

And this is how my badges look now, i like them well chuffed

This is all for now, need to do a full service on it at some point though not sure on what oil, plugs, leads and air filter to go for, so if anyone has any advice i would very much appreciate it
Thanks for looking
